Terms and Conditions of Sale

  • Bookings for events are only confirmed upon receipt of a non refundable deposit.
  • All balloons are perishable. They react to the environment in which they are stored. As such Cardelium cannot guarantee how long they will float for.
  • Cardelium is willing to inflate a balloon supplied by a third party (subject to a charge) However, we will not be held liable for any faults with the supplied balloons, and the client will still be required to pay for the helium used, and any replacement balloons that we may be asked to supply.
  • Where possible, Cardelium will always give the appropriate professional advice prior to supplying an order, including but not limited to advice on collection/delivery times, and products to use. If the client has purchased a balloon over the counter without asking for advice or a consultation, Cardelium will not be held responsible for supplying an unsuitable product.
  • Cancellations:- All cancellations need to be made in writing. Should you cancel your booking, any deposit will be forfeited. If you have paid in full, your refund entitlement will depend on how much notice you have given; 8 weeks or more before your event – 75%; within 4-6 weeks of your event – 50%; within 2-4 weeks of your event – 25%; If you cancel 2 weeks before your event or less, there will be no refund made.
  • All orders via telephone, social media and e-mail require full payment to be paid prior to collection unless agreed by Cardelium Ltd.
  • Cardelium will endevour to supply orders during inclement weather conditions. However should we be unable to reach the shop, or your venue, we will offer a full refund to you. We will not be held responsible for further claims against us. Should you wish to cancel an order in these circumstances, no refund will be due. You may, however, reschedule your event for which there will be no charge.
  • Where a delivery/set up time has been arranged, Cardelium will not be held responsible for failures by the client or a venue and their staff to allow access when required. Our staff will wait as long as possible, but not at the detriment of other clients. In this event, we will return to the delivery address at our earliest opportunity, once our other deliveries have been completed.
  • Replacement of faulty balloons is at our discretion, and is dependent on the return of the faulty balloon or inspection within 24 hours, We reserve the right to refuse replacement of a balloon if we feel the problem was caused by misuse, accidental damage, wear and tear or failure to follow the advice given.
